Entry Requirements and Policies


This is our passion and business, NOT just a hobby. We respect you, our client, enough to give your dog the utmost care so please respect our policies.

1. At Diva Dog Beauty Salon our goal is to provide professional, innovative, and quality pet grooming services for all clients.

2. The staff at Diva Salon go through every effort to ensure your experience with us is as enjoyable as possible.

3. We value you and your time. Your appointments are very important to us, they are reserved specially for your pet, and we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we have instituted the following policies.

4. Before requesting or making an appointment, please take the time to thoroughly read our policies, as no exceptions apply.

6. At the time of booking you are agreeing with our policies. This policy applies to all clients and attendees of Diva Salon.

7. If you do not agree with our policies, please do not access or use our services or interact with any other aspect of our business.

8. These policies are effective from 1 January 2020 (updated since 15. September 2019)

MEDICAL CONDITIONS, MEDICATIONS, ALLERGIES

Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances...

*The pet is healthy. Grooming which takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner's risk.

*We kindly ask that you advise us of any illness, injury or changes to pet health status prior to any services to be conducted. We cannot be held responsible for your pet if you do not disclose pertinent health information.

*The pet's rabies vaccine is up to date (as required by law) unless otherwise discussed.

*In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize Diva Dog Beauty Salon to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense. 

*“De-matting" or complete coat removal may expose pre-existing health\skin conditions for which Diva Dog Beauty Salon cannot be held liable.

*We do not offer anal gland expression without consultation with vet.

DIFFICULT PETS

There will be an additional cost of 15€ for small and medium size difficult dogs.

*Big aggressive dogs will not be tolerated and will be sent home and pet parents will be charged for any work that we were able to do. Dogs that might just be difficult for certain parts of the groom are ok. However, we will NOT fight a dog to get the job done. We will only complete portions of groom that will not put undue stress on him/her or endanger your pet or the groomer.

PAYMENT

*Payment is to be made at the agreement of service.

*Payment can be cash or credit card.

*Our rates are based on the breed of the pet, behavior, condition of coat and the level of skill required to perform the service. Prices listed may be increased based on length, density, preparation work performed by our staff, and if additional time or product are needed to perform the service.

*Prices are subject to change without notice.

*If you have specific questions on pricing, please inquire prior to accepting our service.

*We do not offer refunds on salon services.

*Nail cutting and ear cleaning are part of the service unless the process is too stressful for the pet or too dangerous for the groomer. 

VIDEO & PHOTO RECORDING

*At Diva salon photography, video and audio recording may occur.

*Diva Dog Salon may choose to publish photographs, audio and video recordings on our website and/or social media.

*Diva Dog Salon further reserves the right to use those photographs and recordings in promotional materials.

*We reserve the right to use pictures/videos taken before, after and during grooming at Diva Dog Salon on our Website Instagram and Facebook Page.

NO - CALL / NO - SHOW

* 1st Offense: Requires owner to sign our no-call/no-show policy

* 2nd Offense: Requires FULL GROOMING FEE. Payment can be made at the time of next scheduled appointment.

* 3rd Offense: You cannot re-book with our salon.

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING

PLEASE RESPECT YOUR GROOMING APPOINTMENT TIME!
*Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 24 hours notice to waive the FULL appointment fee.

*Please be on time for your appointment if you are 15 minutes late for your appointment time your appointment may be cancelled and you will be considered a NO SHOW and charged a NO SHOW FEE.  

*If you know you are running late, please give us a call to see if we will still be able to accommodate you. A simple phone call is all it takes.

*If you can not make your appointment let us know ASAP, PLEASE do not wait until the morning of your appointment if at all possible. We will take into consideration emergencies or waive the fee if we're able to fill that time slot with another client.

*In the event of inclement weather, a family emergency or any other uncontrollable circumstance, the groomer has the discretion to waive the fee within the 24 hour period.

*Rain Check... If the weather determines your furkid's grooming schedule, please check the 7 day forecast. Weather is not an acceptable excuse for last minute cancellations or No Shows. 

*We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom if we feel the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the groomer. 

*No-Shows-----------------------It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not available at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact the groomer to cancel or reschedule.

*We reserve the right to charge the FULL grooming fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show". 

*We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or client for any reason.

APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATIONS AND REMINDERS

We will contact you via phone, email or SMS to confirm appointments booked and remind you of upcoming appointments. We consider your having made the appointment as consent to undertake this activity.

APPOINTMENT RATINGS AND REVIEWS

After visiting us we may send you an email or SMS asking you to rate our services and provide feedback. We consider your agreement and participation in the service as consent to undertake this activity.

PICK UP

PLEASE... do not arrive early to pick up your furkid. We will call you as soon as they are finished being pampered.  It is never our intention to keep your furkids away from you longer than needed. Showing up early could cause your pup to go into a frenzy and make it not only dangerous but impossible to finish the groom which we will still charge full price for. Your pup may be here anywhere from 2

to 4 hours depending on difficulty of groom and how many furkids you have. You may call to check on your furkids progress but remember.... the more time we take answering the phone, the longer it takes us to finish the groom from the distractions.

*Due to limited space and for the comfort and safe of your pet, clients, guests, including children are not permitted in the salon.

*We do not provide waiting area for clients.

SERVICE GUARANTEE

*Not satisfied with your pet's haircut?  

We pride ourselves on providing all clients with fantastic service and quality customer care.

We are professional, highly- skilled and experienced, and will provide you with the best grooming care services possible.

*If you are not satisfied with the results of your salon service, due to a possible error by us, please contact the salon within 24 hours of your appointment.

*We will ask you to return to the salon for your pet hair to be visually assessed within 2 business days of your appointment and are able to provide a one time complimentary adjustment within 3 business days of your appointment date if there is an error.

*We do not offer refunds on salon services.

*We will be glad to adjust it if you let us know within 24 hours of picking up your furkid. This does not include if you "changed your mind" and want a different clip or length than you originally told us. 

*We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or client for any reason.

*We also may collect Personal Data via Google Analytics for example your name and contact details.

*We store notes with respect to services we undertake to ensure we maintain and exceed our level of service. For example, your preferred pet hair style. How your pet behaved or how much did the grooming take last time.

*We consider you have provided consent for us to store personally identifying information and information about your services based on your receiving services from us.

*By voluntarily providing us with Personal Data, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you provide Personal Data to the Site, you acknowledge and agree that such Personal Data may be transferred from your current location to the offices and servers of Company and the authorized third parties referred to here in located in Spain.

*Depending on the particular service(s) we are providing we may be required to ask questions related to your pet medical history. We will obtain your consent prior to storing information related to your medical history. Examples of medical data may be allergies, pregnancy or an injury that may impact our service.

*At any time, you may request a copy of information we have recorded about you.

*We do not share details about our grooming techniques.  

*If you do not want to be our client anymore, you may also request we remove all identifiable information with respect to yourself.

*As a matter of course, we will delete your identifiable information if you have not undertaken business with us after 10 years.
